Silat and Street fighting

I have this argument many times before. Such people were always ready, whether they know it or not to condemn their own culture. Some of them claimed that the people these days have no Silat. It looks stupid to the "Pencak run" to fight in a street. Allow me to this problem.

Who says you need the "Pencak" run into a street fight? Only stupid people would do more. As with other martial arts, there are theories and practice. The real battle, the odds are 50-50, depending on how well you have reflections. Silat is all about generating great ideas. If you can master the theory and practice, they always, you are actually building an invisible "shield" in you. Practice makes perfect. In Silat, everything is there for you to learn. It's like going to school.

We learn everything, but all is not apply in our lives. At the end of the day we are one who chooses and decides what, who, when applicable, where or what we learn in our daily lives. The decision we make and how we report the results for the success or failure. Depending on how well we manage ourselves.

Personally I have never participated in a battle to fight, because the last thing I want to do. I prefer things in a diplomatic way if possible. This is also a great value in learning Silat I deserve. To win is to not only fight. Win with your mind instead of your power. Speaking of reflections, there was a time when I was a shop in my village, I closed my neck from behind. In a few seconds was the aggressor for me to lock the hand. Well, it's just my friend, in an attempt to a joke. But then, you ask a shot in the head, "as I have a lock on it right now?"

Then I realized the power of thought. Maybe that was my "guru" always reminds us of the practical, non-stop. Well, it is not easily persuaded to love people and to learn Silat, as we humans. We have our own interests and dislikes. But I hope that my "to chat" here to help people understand, it is not only hidden to Pencak Silat and "Dance" sign "of the invisible warrior. Strong muscles are only tools. They are without a brilliant mind to fight it unusable.
